Great job! I thought I had you with Jonathan Richman, but no, there he was on your list.

Ivy opened for Lloyd Cole, so I think you can count them...

They Might Be Giants...now it's all coming back to me...

How could we forget the sloppy drunken performance of Van Halen at Staples Center?

Wow... Ivy?? Opening for Lloyd Cole?? Sheesh... I can't remember who opened for him, when I saw him. And thanks for Big Bad Voodoo Daddy... that was one that I forgot on MY list.

And LEVEL 42?? WHICH TOUR?? Daggum... that is one band that I regret not seeing, when they were in their prime.

Sorry, one more...

GEEZ! I can't believe the biggies I left off! Thanks, Hon!

@Zeke: Level 42 opened for MADONNA in like '89, here at Anaheim Stadium! Talk about your odd lineups...

Daymn! You've seen the best, girlfriend!

Fleetwood Mac is one of my all time favs- Duran Duran in 1984 and then again in 2006 was pretty cool. Being the Minneapolis gal that I am, though, nothing beats Prince live during any decade since the 80's. . .

Didn't you drag me to see Matthew Sweet on campus? And how 'bout the English Beat at Malibu Inn?!?

We totally missed out on seeing Howard Jones this summer... we're lame.

D'oh! I'm a goober -- you already had Matthew Sweet on your list!

My list includes such eclectic acts as MC Hammer, The Vapors (remember "Turning Japanese"?), Stanard Ridgeway, The Smithereens, Dogs on Fire (don't ask), and Mack Winston and the Reflections. Oh, and does Rodney Dangerfield count?

I'm so jealous you were in the same, vast room as Brian Setzer. "But I got cat class, and I got cat style" - one of the best lyrics ever! ;-)

Not only can I list the live concerts i've seen on both hands... i haven't even heard of most of the bands on your list.

i'm almost embarrased right now...almost. ;)

i'm going back to reread your list - surely you have New Kids on the Block on there. I mean, geez, I've seen them twice already.

Wonder if we were at the same John Denver concert. Universal Amphitheater?

I believe Elton John is the only concert we have in common, and I've been to more than I can count (though I do, somewhere in the depths of my bedroom at my parents' house, have all the ticket stubs).

A few gems you'd be jealous of: Was the accompanying adult for my sister (10 years younger than me) for N'Sync, Kanye West, and Usher. Sadly, she was old enough to go alone to Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus.

First concert was REM.

Follow up story: Went to see Paul Simon (mega heart him) and was next to some much-cooler-than-me 20 somethings. They said "Stevie Nicks is coming to town next week." And I wondered to myself (thankfully) who HE was. Sad.
