Nonetheless, we DID manage to visit another one last night. This time it was The Bear Pit Bar-B-Q, a Mission Hills landmark since the 1950s. It's an awesome old place with a neon sign, sawdust on the floor, lots of dark wood, and bizarre murals of bears on the walls. Oh -- and GREAT BBQ!!!
