Fire Season

Here in the SoCal, this is what we call "fire season". We get the combination of high winds and drought conditions, and that = FIRES. This one is burning just northeast of us.

Makes for a beautiful sunrise, tho...

Yep, the sunrise was STUNNING this morning. Wildfires are sad, fascinating, scary, and beautiful all at once.

I haven't seen the Super Scoopers... guess California ran out of money to bring them to town this year...

You go to CSUN? Same here. One of my classes was cancelled today and I'm hoping they let us go tomorrow. What I'm really worried about is if they evacuate the dorms like they did at Pepperdine last year, since I have no where to go.
