Now, Grandma was quite sure she'd be able to get a scooter/cart at WinCo. What she didn't consider was that it was a Sunday afternoon, and rather difficult to secure a scooter/cart! We finally did, but, as you might have guessed, the thing lost its charge partway thru our outing, and Brian ended up pushing the whole kit n'caboodle all around the store. For some reason, this all struck me very funny, so I snapped some pix with my fone, chuckling all the while. I kid you not, People -- this seemed downright Monty Pythonian in its redonkulousness! The whole scenario was so much more wacky than I can possibly describe here. Grandma's purple cast was just the *kicker*. So to speak.
Here are a few shots taken on Grandma's patio with Brian's iPhone.
She'll have the cast for at least another month, so I daresay another WinCo outing is in our future! Stay tuned for more hilarity!

She's rockin the purple cast, though!
My FIL broke his foot in Canada golfing (don't ask) had a cast/brace on for like 6 months... just giving you a head's up. The one month seems to continue on....
Despite the cast...She looks HAPPY and HEALTHY...
It could be worst...my mother is on a 60-days vacation ABROAD and I'm leaving here as a kind of "tutor" of my grand mother (mom's mother)...she lives in a FARM about 10 miles from my home & ALONE (well a little dog).
And she is THE MOST stubborn HUMAN BEING that I've ever known!!...
I forgot to mention the MOST IMPORTANT thing SHE is ONLY 86 YEARS OLD!!!
p.s.Still have a month ahead until my parents be back to SAVE my SANITY!
The pic with The Boy is 'da bomb! LOL (we call my oldest The Boy too, and always have - that rocks that there's another one!!).
Grandma is rockin' that sweet purple cast and dare I say that I swear I have the same shirt as your GRANDMA! (i wear it completely unbuttoned though, bwhahaha!!!!!)
