Knebworth Festival '76

Wow, here's a nutty concert lineup for ya: Lynyrd Skynyrd (look -- they misspelled it on the poster), the Stones, 10cc and Todd "Is God" Rundgren.

I dunno... I don't think that would've worked for me. Todd and 10cc, sure, but I could do without the 2 headliners. All 4 bands on the same bill??? Blech.

Just IMHO, people!

Zeke? Any comments???

Todd Just Might Be God

I've never been a huge Todd Rundgren fan. Nothin' against the guy, he just didn't float my boat as much as your other prolific songwriters, like, say, Stephen Bishop or Karla Bonoff.

That may have changed with my acquisition of this album from 1997 called "With a Twist...". I just freakin' LOVE it!!! It's got alot of his well-known hits on it ('Can We Still Be Friends', 'Hello, It's Me'), but he's arranged them with a bossa-nova feel. What a brainstorm on Todd's part! Who woulda thought this would work?! Not me.

But work, it does, my friends. Work it does.

Eat your heart out, Sergio Mendes.
